The Nash Group isn't just a development company—it's a family legacy four generations in the making. Founded by Dr. Troy Nash (CEO) and his daughter Arielle Nash (President), we bring lived experience, academic excellence, and a deep commitment to community transformation to every project we undertake.

Dr. Nash grew up in Kansas City's Section 8 housing, where his grandmother first taught him about the dignity that comes with stable housing. That lesson became his life's mission—and now, working alongside Arielle, he's passing that mission to the next generation.

Why We Do This Work

"We develop affordable housing because we lived it."

— Dr. Troy Nash

This isn't a tagline—it's our truth. Dr. Nash's journey from public housing to becoming one of the Midwest's most respected affordable housing developers gives us a perspective that no textbook can teach. We understand what it means to need housing because we've been there.

Every unit we develop, every community we partner with, every family that moves into a Nash Group property—they're all connected to that original lesson from Dr. Nash's grandmother about dignity and home.
